Lakewood’s first Let’s Go Camping event at Bear Creek Lake Park on June 8, 2019, was a huge success! First-time campers were able to enjoy an overnight tent camping experience, complete with fun and educational activities led by park staff and volunteers, as well as dinner and breakfast. Partner organizations donated giveaway prizes and had well organized gear to borrow. One first-time camper in particular stood out. She brought her grandson to the event and enjoyed her very first s’mores! #BearCreekLakePark #Camping #Let'sGoCamping
